Vietnamese engineers open English and computer classes for secondary school learners

The Vietnamese engineers working for the United Nations Interim Security for Abyei (UNISFA) have started teaching senior students English language and computer courses at Abyei coeducation secondary school in Abyei Town.

The courses kicked off three weeks ago.

School headteacher spoke to Abyei FM on Monday 14th November 2022.

Santino Jok Mijak said Vietnamese soldiers have dedicated Friday each week to deliver lessons.

He expects that the courses will ultimately improve English language proficiency and computer skills of learners.

Mijak said he has observed positive changes of skills in some learners.

Abyei coeducation secondary school has five classes for senior one and each class has 75 students.
