The administration of education, information, culture, youth, and sports is paying exam fees for 250 orphans and vulnerable pupils and students in the area.

Hon. Ajak Deng Miyen said that situation is difficult this year and that’s why the administration intervened.
“We don’t want learners to miss exams because of money,” he said.
Exam fees for public schools are 5,500 South Sudanese Pounds for primary and 7,500 South Sudanese Pounds for secondary while it costs 7,500 South Sudanese Pounds for primary and 10,000 South Sudanese Pounds for private institutions.
This is the first time for Abyei administration to pay examination fees for orphans and vulnerable learners in the area.
