Abyei Administrative Area has received 600 doses of COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.
The director of Expanded Program on Immunization, Yusuf Lal Ayom told Abyei FM on Thursday.
Lal said the doses will be used by those who have already got their first shots of AstraZeneca vaccine.
He appeals to those who took the first dose to go to Ameth-beek Hospital or Abyei Hospital to get their second doses. He added that Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccines are still there.
The official also advised the public community to get vaccinated against the Corona virus.
Abyei Administrative Area has more than 210 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including 11 deaths.
