Mabek residents get clean drinking water

People in Mabek village in Mijak County of Abyei Administrative Area will be getting clean drinking water starting next week after the repair of water points.

In February Samaritan’s Purse International established two water pumps in the area.

Mabek is the new county headquarters and home of many returnees who fled the area due to violence.

Speaking to Abyei FM, the caretaker Commissioner of Mijak County Chol Adhol said that the organization concluded completed the water pump installation and it is expected to be opened on Monday.

Chol appeals to citizens to return homes.
