Four people killed and two others injured in separate attacks on Abathok, Gael and Akach-Nhial villages of Abyei Administrative Area.
Those killed include an eight-year-old boy.
Mr. Nyiot Manyiel an witness says his grand son was burnt to death in a house in Abathok village of Mijak county on Tuesday morning
He says the boy was displaced by fighting in Agok. The attack was launched by armed men believed to be from Twic county in Warrap State.
Another man was killed in a separate attack in the morning of the same day on the village of Gael village in Alal county.
Two women were also injured in the attack.
Eyewitnesses said that two of the attackers who targeted the village were killed in the incident.
The caretaker Commissioner of Mijak county, Mr. Chol Adhuol says the attackers had coordinated the attacks.
More than twenty houses were burnt and dozens of sheep and cows were looted.
The caretaker head of education information culture youth and sports in Abyei Administrative Area has condemned the attacks.
Ajak Deng Miyen who is also the spokesperson appeals to the SSPDF soldiers deployed in Agok to provide adequate security to the locals.
He also appeals to Warrap State authorities to arrest the suspected criminals and bring them to book.
