
The Chief Administrator of Abyei Administrative Area, Kuol Deim Kuol has appealed to the government of South Sudan to improve social services to the people in the area.
Hon. Kuol said this during the fifth governors’ forum in Juba last week according to Radio Miraya.
The chief administrator specified that the services to be improved are education, health and roads. He stressed that these need a quick care from the national government.
Hon. Kuol hopes that that the governors’ forum will lead to improvement of social services in the area.
The meeting that ended on Monday recommended building of dikes and water channels to control recurring devastating floods in the country.
The event was attended by more than 100 participants from the ten states and three Administrative Areas.
