Chiefs in Abyei push for court establishment orders

Chiefs in Abyei Administrative Area have submitted a letter requesting for the establishment of twelve courts in the area to the caretaker deputy chief administrator and head of local government and law enforcement agencies, Chol Thuc Chol. The document was handed over to him on Tuesday.

The Paramount Chief of Ngok Dinka, Bulabek Deng Kuol said the deputy chief administrator has promised to send their letter to South Sudan justice ministry for approval.

Abyei FM tried to reach the deputy chief Administrator for comment but no response.
