Abyei education department plans teachers’ training on understanding South Sudan new education curriculum

 

 

The department of education, information, culture youth and sports in Abyei Administrative Area will conduct training of teachers across the area on how to teach South Sudan a new curriculum of education. The curriculum was introduced this year and some teachers are facing challenges in administering it.

The director of examinations said the lessons will commence on Monday next week with teachers from Alal and Ameth-Aguok counties at Abyei Girls’ secondary school in Abyei Town.

Mr. Ring Monydhang said the objective of the training is to enable teachers to teach the new curriculum and to upgrade their standards.

The second group will be teachers from Mijak counties who will attend the course on the third and fourth of November at Ganga primary school in Abathok.

The last group will be teachers from Rumamer county and they will attend their lessons at Agok “B” primary school.
