Abyei chief administrator pledges support to best students in South Sudan secondary school examinations 2020

The chief administrator of Abyei Administrative Area, Kuol Deim Kuol has promised to pay allowances to students from Abyei who emerged in the top ten positions in South Sudan Certificate of secondary education examinations 2020. This came during the celebration and announcement of the results on Monday.

The Caretaker Deputy Chief Administrator, Chol Thuc Chol who spoke on behalf of the chief administrator said the chief administrator has set aside some funds to support the best students from the first to the tenth positions. 

On his part, the Director-General of Education, John Ajang Kiir said the area highly performed in mathematics with seventy-two students from science section scoring between 90-99 percent.

Comboni secondary school leads with 31 candidates having passed Mathematics.

Forty-nine students got 100 percent in Christian Religious Education.
