Catholic church delivers food assistance to over 200 people in Abyei

The Catholic church distributed humanitarian assistance to 230 people in Agok in Abyei Administrative Area this week. The items given out include sorghum, ground nuts and lentils. 

The Catholic church preacher, Angelo Wut said this is part of the church activities done annually. He added that they distributed these items for the beneficiaries to meet some of their needs.

 One of the beneficiaries, Achai Aguek confirmed the receipt of the items saying she got five ‘maluou’ of sorghum, a ‘maluou’ of ground nuts and a ‘maluou’ of lentils. A ‘maluou’ is equivalent to 3.5 kg.
