Health department set to open three health centers in Abyei

The department of health is preparing to open three new health centers in Alal and Mijak counties in Abyei Administrative Area. The facilities are in Malual Aleu, Tok Agany and Awolnom. They were established to help people in remote village access health care service.

The administrative director of health centers, Mr. Anter John says the centers will be supported by two humanitarian organizations, GOAL and Save the Children alongside the government. He says the facilities will officially begin operation on Monday next week.

The medic revealed that malaria cases have increased from 25 percent to over 58 percent in the last three months with over 270 patients seen daily. will be taken to the court case.
