Ngok Dinka-Misseriya agree to better relations to maintain peace

The Ngok Dinka and Misseriya on Tuesday agreed to return to discussions with communities at the grassroots in a bid to end attacks between Amiet and Abyei Town in Abyei Administrative Area.

The caretaker commissioner of Ameth-Aguok County, Mr. Nyok Deng Rou says last week saw many incidents including cattle raid along the road to Amiet market.

According to Rou, Misseriya representatives have agreed to talk to their community to find ways to curb robbery and keep peace signed between Ngok Dinka and Misseriya. He said the meeting was attended by many groups in Amiet market.
