Ten herds of cattle were stolen in Madiing-Jokthiang in Agok on Thursday. A woman says unknown men put them at gunpoint and took away their cattle at about 1 am. She explains that one of the assailants untied the animals while others were threatening them with guns.
According to her, the animals were led to the direction of Rech-Ayen village located South West of Agok. She said two cows returned to the house. Community Police in Agok confirmed the incident saying, they are waiting for detail from owners of the cattle.
This is the second time livestock are stolen within Agok. In June, armed men stormed a house in Madiing-Jokthiang in Agok injuring a man and walked away with cattle that were later recovered.
