Agok Administrative Unit has asked heads of residential areas to meet farmers and livestock owners to address problems related to animal raring.
Chol Chou Chol, head of Maker Aniet residential area has welcomed the decision saying they will convene a meeting this week. He urged his counterparts to do the same.
Two weeks ago, Agok Administrative Unit met and agreed that livestock should be allowed to move freely. The authorities also advised farmers to fence up their farms to protect them from being destroyed by goats.
